Job Description:
As a key member of our Faincne and Risk practice you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our client's financial and risk mangement system projects within the Financial Services industry.
Though the role will be primarily focused on project delivery, you will naturally participate and enjoy supporting client sales and in practice related sales activities and the creation of Fiancne and Risk Managnement proposition development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include the provision of leadership and direction of activities across the entire financial systems strategy, architecture and implementation project landscape, with a deep focus on forward looking analysis, design and overall project planning.
Functional and Technology Skills:
You will have a demonstrable understanding of the key drivers and issues affecting Finance and the back office within the Financial Services industry, and how business and technology solutions can be deployed to meet our client's needs. Specifically, you will need knowledge of data warehousing solutions to support an integrated approach to risk and perforamcne management within a financial services environment. In addition to technical competence in data warehousing and core financial systems, you will have strong knowledge of the methodologies for mamgagment / performance reporting (e.g., cost allocations, economic and regulatory capital attribution, and funds transfer pricing) needed to support the implemetnation of new technology solutions. Expereince with major vendors such as Oracle, Peoplesoft and SAP is likely; however, deep configuration / technical knowledge of specific modules is not required.
