130' x 17' Partly converted steel static barge houseboat with the existing accommodation comprising galley, bathroom, shower, lounge and 2 bedrooms. The rest of the accommodation can be converted to your own needs. 4 years ago she had £20k spent on the hull. Our knowledge and experience of this Marina suggest that it is dedicated to providing a Residential mooring community for large and interesting vessels, with secure accessible pontoons, mains water at a charge of £2.50 per week and mains electricity at normal cost per unit with a separate meter to each vessel. BT provide the telephone connections at their usual rates and Broadband is also available. We have often noted that there are children and there are animals. BUT there are no problems with children and there are no problems with animals. A well-laid out car-park includes allocated spaces for each boat and adequate extra spaces for visitors. Post is addressed to you at the Marina and collected at the office. There are adequate clean wheeled bins, emptied regularly by the council. 24 hour CCTV operates and the car-ways and walk-ways are well-lit. Beyond to the shore side is pleasant established woodland. There are no nearby or overlooking road or rail bridges, so it is very quiet and away from traffic fumes. Usually we find that a boat sold on this mooring will be able to stay by arrangement between the new owner and the Marina, but, for the buyer, it is always your responsibility to introduce yourself and confirm all arrangements, including those above, prior to sale
