JOB OVERVIEW
• Owning the overall design and implementation of the business intelligence application software, including universes, reports, dashboards and analytics
• Project Managing smaller engagements without supervision
• Supporting the Programme/Project Manager on larger projects in putting together proposals, business and functional specifications and project plans.
• Managing the technical team members delivering the solution.
• Identifying project risks / escalating issues and feeding back information to Practice/Programme/Project Managers
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
• 4+ years of enterprise application software implementation experience
• Completely familiar with the general requirements and issues associated with building BI solutions including Data Warehousing, ETL, and Query/Reporting
• Project Management experience
• Experience driving project scoping definition sessions and requirement prioritisation
• Expertise in relevant horizontal or vertical focus areas, such as Supply Chain, Extranets, security, financial services, Retail, etc. advantageous
• Bachelors Degree in a scientific or a technical field
Technical skills:
• High level knowledge of all Business Objects products strongly preferred
• An understanding of ETL processes and preferably experience in at least one tool e.g. Data Integrator, Informatica
• Knowledge of servers operating
• High level database design expertise in major Relational Data Management Systems (e.g. oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, XML), application server environments (ASP, JSP, JAVA, .Net) and web servers (IIS, Apache)
• Knowledge in some of the following technologies:
o Applications Reporting
o Data Management
o Application Foundation
o Analytical Applications
o Olap access
o WebServices
o Web connect
o Software release updates / upgrades
o Integration with ERP environments (e.g. SAP)
