PRODUCT MANAGER CONSULTING SOLUTIONS EMEA - BUSINESS OBJECTS

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Consulting Solutions EMEA, the Product Manager will undertake a key role in developing and evolving the core content of BISA, the Business Intelligence Solution Accelerator methodology.

The responsibilities and day to day activities are many and varied and the role would suit a senior consultant with a strong focus on driving best practice in the sales and delivery of professional services.

Responsibilities

Responsible for ownership and completion of respective portions of the development of BISA, specifically:

• Working closely with the Sr. Product Manager, Consulting Solutions in the definition, design and implementation of vertical Consulting Solutions
• Acting as a liaison between the PSO Solutions team, PSO, Product Group and Marketing in developing Consulting Solutions
• Producing and maintaining the core PSO Service Offering Guides and the supporting project delivery templates and tools
• Forming and managing dynamic virtual teams pulled from un-staffed consulting resources, as necessary, to participate in content production
• Working closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to harvest, standardize, and improve project deliverables
• Measuring and evolving PSO project management maturity in all consulting regions world-wide
• Working closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to capture project task “actuals” and apply those results to continuously improve the project estimation process

Experience Required
• 7 or more years of enterprise application software implementation experience.
• 2 or more years experience as a project manager or team lead with plan, resource and issue/change management responsibilities. Must include full life cycle implementation.
• 2 years experience driving project scoping sessions including:
- Requirements Definition
- Requirements Prioritization
• Experience in supporting business development opportunities through proposal creation, review and presentation.
• BI/Data Warehousing/Data Mart experience a plus
• Vertical expertise in Retail/CPG or Financial Services a plus.
• PMI Certification and experience with Earned Value Management a plus.
• B.A. / B.S. in a technical or business field. Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
