The Short Stay/ General Surgery ward is looking for dynamic Band 6 Junior Sister/ Charge nurse to join the ward teams.The short stay surgery area is open from Monday to Saturday and the general surgical area is open 7 days a week. The ward offers the opportunity to internally rotate between the two areas for development purposes.Working on this area will enable to care for patients from a range of surgical specialties.We offer an exciting and friendly working environment, where all members of the team are valued. Recent surgical experience is essential for this post as you will be responsible for a team of nurses and patient care during the span of duty. You will need to be able to work under pressure and possess good leadership, communication and prioritisation skillsPersonal development and induction will be planned through the appraisal system and with the Practice Development Sister.
