Description
We provide Acute Health Care for the County of Durham. Our principal hospitals are the University Hospital of North Durham, Darlington Memorial Hospital, Bishop Auckland General Hospital and Shotley Bridge Hospital. We are comitted to providing learning and development opportunities to all of our staff and as well as working closely with local Universities and Colleges, and we provide a rich portfolio of in-house training and development programmes. As well as the beautiful City of Durham, County Durham contains large, wild areas of the North Pennines AONB, the beautiful Dales of Teesdale and Weardale and a coastline newly restored from its industrial past.
You will support the Clinical Team in providing care to patients acting under the direction of a registered nurse.
Previous experience in a health care setting is essential, along with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Previous NHS service would be an advantage but is not essential.
