The post holder works as part of a Secretarial/PA/Clerical team supporting the Directorate Management structure in a busy Directorate office where interruptions are constant. Co-ordination of secretarial duties, x-ray film copying, statistical searches and analysis, diary planning and minute taking are key components of this role. The post holder is also responsible for the day-to-day supervision of clerical staff in a busy Clinical Imaging Directorate. Duties include co-ordination of training, recruitment, HR advice and resolving problems for a range of professionals both within and outside the Directorate. The post holder will be required to operate the Patient Administration System (PAS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and Electronic Requisitioning and Ordering System - training will be given as required. Flexibility is essential for the duties involved and the unpredictable workload. The work is of a highly confidential nature. The post holder is required to carry out their duties in an autonomous manner.
This is a part time post working 22 hours per week; there may be a possibility to work up to 30 hours per week.
