Description
Purpose of Role:
To work as part of a team providing an effective and efficient estates and other hard FM Services across the site.
Key Role Objectives:
1. To build and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with members of the team and colleagues both within Carillion Services and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
2. To liaise with the Carillion Group Procurement Dept on developing contracts with contractors and suppliers to achieve best value, and support key accounts where required.
3. Take a lead role in the development and implementation of an efficient procurement service for both the Estates Service and other FM services
4. To work as part of the Facilities Management team, providing a high quality estates service as part of an integrated Facilities Management service.
5. To review existing services, specifications, processes and productivity levels, to secure and increase the efficient use of resources.
6. To ensure contract objectives are translated into individual Job Descriptions and Terms of Reference for the Facilities Management team and that these are clearly communicated and understood by the team.
7. Take a lead role in the development and implementation of an efficient procurement service for both the Estates Service and other FM services.
8. Ensure that the Service is being delivered in full compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
9. Promote a culture of customer service and the meeting of Carillion values.
10. Provide training and coaching support to both direct reports, and others within the contract.
11. Partake in an on-call rota covering the site 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
