Description
Description of duties - ·Developing year on year strategic business plans ensuring that the Division achieves and exceeds company repairs targets in ERCs and retail stores.· Solving operational problems in the division (working with other departments if necessary).
- Working one-to-one with engineers to develop concrete action plans to improve performance within individual ERCs.· Seeking opportunity to further develop the store and ERC portfolio within the Division to expand the repairs proposition
- Influencing and catalysing operational improvements in the Division through actively participating as a member of the retail management team.· Developing "best practice" between sales and repairs across different Areas and Divisions of the company.Deve
- To maximise the company's repairs proposition in the area, which will be measured by the mystery shopping programme.· To ensure that the CPW repairs process is adhered to in ERCs and retail stores and ensure we meet the requirements of regular audits
Job description
Communication Responsibilities
·Report to Head of Retail Repairs on all technical and resource issues e.g. headcount, recruitment, KPIs, audit performance, service centre revenue, marketing activity, competitor analysis, market developments and regional influences etc., on a weekly basis.
·Communicate observations on strategic opportunities for company development.
·To continuously improve and demonstrate the added value of the repairs process across the organisation.
·Set standards, objectives and targets for each repairs centre and Engineer within the area
·Monitoring of all aspects of performance and formulate plans to address shortfalls.
·Organise and conduct at least 2 structured store visits and produce written reports assessing performance against objectives and standards set per quarter. A standard store visit form is to be used which should be copied for the relevant Technicians, Store Managers and Head of Retail Repairs.
·Attend Divisional and Area retail management meetings with agreed agenda and timeslot.
·Attend and contribute to DRRM meetings on a monthly basis.
·Plan and conduct a quarterly review meeting (Maximise) with each Technicians per quarter.
·To develop and maintain closer relationships and understanding of the production, operations and technical processes within the repairs hub, e.g. monitoring the success of the HAB quality and availability.
·Conduct Branch visits on non ERC sites to promote best procedural practice and improve repair volumes
