Description
Role Objectives:
There are 2 primary objectives for the role:
· Help to significantly improve Telecoms reporting across a number of growing businesses; and
· Where analysis, planning and reporting cuts across all divisions of CPW assist the Head of RPA in pulling together a single and consistent Group view. Particularly with respect to:
- Budgeting, planning & forecasting processes;
- Strategic initiatives (e.g. Productivity);
- Financial planning & reporting system improvement
This role covers an number of strategically important areas within Group Finance and cuts across all divisions within CPW. Key responsibilities are summarised as follows:
· Assist in the development of Telecoms reporting and analysis as the Telecoms division continues to grow both organically and through acquisition. For example covering:
- Mobile Service Provider & MVNO;
- Fixed Line Voice Residential;
- Fixed Line Voice B2B;
- Broadband / data services
· Development & management of Group strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting covering all businesses and divisions:
- Annual budgets;
- Rolling forecasts;
- 3-year strategic planning.
· Development of CPW divisional reporting, including divisional reporting to the City.
· Development and reporting of Group wide strategic initiatives to improve productivity and performance:
- Benchmarking and analysis of productivity of businesses, divisions and the group as a whole.
· Significant involvement in the rollout & development of Hyperion reporting & analytical tools (e.g. Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, MDM).
- Analytical report writing
- User acceptance testing
Requirements/Person Specification:
- Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA:0-1yr PQE
- Graduate
- Advantageous - Telecoms (Fixed or Mobile) or Retail experience
- Strong PC skills (e.g. Excel, Access)
- Strong analytical skills
- Team player
- Flexible
