This is my first car since I passed my driving test, and so I am selling it because I can realistically afford a bigger engine, as I now have no claims. It is an incredibly reliable car and have never had any major problems with it.
The car is in good condition for a 7 year old car. There are a few scratches from the seatbelt getting caught on the inside of the passenger's door (See picture) and there is a scratch on the windscreen where the wipers have come off the blade and the metal has rubbed on the glass.
There are a few cosmetic marks inside: There are a few cigarette burns on the back seat unfortunately, and some scratches on the inner door panel .. Although I would not say this affects the overall quality of the car. Within the last 6 months I have had 3 tyres replaced.
The car has a full MOT until August '07, and is taxed until July '07.
This car is absolutely ideal for a first car, with a reasonable 55,000 miles on the clock, and a 0.899 engine (insurance group 1). I have never found the small engine size to be an issue; I often do alot of motorway driving to and from my university, and can easily reach 70mph. It is also an extremely economical car, which is why I chose it originally; great for first time drivers and students alike.
This car comes with electric windows, central locking a sunroof, power steering and I am also throwing in my CD player for good measure.
I am looking for £1,300 ono
