Description
This is not your average martial arts class. In fact there aren't many like it. In Evo Martial Arts Club the focus is on functionality, economy and most importantly individuality; everybody is unique and therefore should be free to find a way that suits them. There is no blueprint to follow!
The material is a unique blend of martial arts originating from east and west that incorporates both striking and grappling. The class is very informal: no uniforms, no grades, no strict curriculum, no complex sets or patterns to be memorized. The instructor, Reinis Axelsson, has 19 years experience in various martial arts incl Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Jiu Jitsu, Systema, Karate, Kempo, Modern Arnis and Krav Maga.
- Learn how to punch, kick and use take-downs with minimal effort
- Learn how to defend yourself whether standing, sitting or lying down
- Learn how to take strikes with minimal tension
- Learn how to apply joint locks and how to get out of them
- Learn weapons techniques and disarms
- Learn a non-aggressive approach to martial arts and self-defense

Classes are held Wednesdays 7pm-9pm at Zeppelinne, Cable St Studios in Limehouse and Sundays 3pm-5pm in Kennington Park.
Prices from Nov 1st:
* Your first class is free of charge.
* 4 classes for £20 (£5 each)
* One off classes £7 each.
* Pay £35 monthly and attend all classes and get a free 1 to 1 lesson (normal price £20).
* Private tuition is also available starting from £20/lesson.
