MID-LEVEL CONSTRUCTION LAWYERS - CLIFFORDCHANCE

If you are a first rate non-contentious construction lawyer with 2 - 5 years pqe preferably with interest in international projects or PFI/PPP work and/or international projects.
THE WORK

The Construction Group works in conjunction with the firm's top ranked Real Estate, PPP/PFI and Projects Groups, participating in and originating market-leading deals. The Group's three main categories of work comprise real estate development, international project finance transactions and PFI/PPP projects in varying proportions.

Lawyers working in our Construction Group act for sponsors/developers, funders, contractors and other project participants and can expect to be involved in the drafting, negotiation and analysis of construction, facilities management, insurance, guarantee, bond and ancillary documentation. There is a clear transactional bias to the Group's work, so our lawyers are required to involve themselves in the management and organisation of teams of clients, lawyers and professional advisers.

EXPERIENCE

We are keen to speak to first class non-contentious construction lawyers with 3-5 years pqe.

All candidates will need to have a solid background in non-contentious construction work, probably gained at a City or National Firm with a specialist construction or projects group, or at an overseas common law practice with a similar highly regarded profile. Experience of international projects and/or UK PFI/PPP deals would be an advantage but is not essential.

In all cases you should have first class legal ability coupled with a practical commercial approach and excellent drafting and communication skills. A strong academic history is essential.
