This role is extremely customer facing and you will be liaising with a high proportion of the Global staff as well as, at times, customers and partners alike.
You will be required to bring the highest level of professionalism to the role, both in terms of technical abilities and communication skills.
Based in the Egham office, travel will be required to the London office as required by the job.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the internal systems team leader, you would be responsible for:
Support, troubleshooting and development of all internal systems across global operations including Exchange, AD , SQL and SharePoint systems
Desktop and server support, mainly focussed on the Microsoft platform, but with some non-Microsoft technologies
Maintaining the high level of service to Conchango Consultants
Supporting the growing Conchango workforce in all systems
Assisting in maintaining the exsisting systems and improving upon the cutting-edge network of business systems in areas such as:
Bolstering business continuity capabilities
Expanding Email infrastructure
Improving Mobile Workforce communication and collaboration abilities
New technology environments
Experience needed: Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate would need to demonstrate experience and skills in the following areas:
Relevant experience of supporting a complex IT Function
High level of knowledge in Microsoft and associated infrastructure technologies, in particular:
Active Directory and assocaited technologies
Windows 2000/2003 Server
SQL Server 2000/2005
Sharepoint 2003 (Portal/WSS)
Good knowledge of the following technologies:
Exchange 2000/2003
Virtual Server 2005
Networking (LAN/WAN) technologies and concepts such as VPN, firewalls, etc.
The following qualifications would also be desirable:
HND/Degree level education
Up to date MCSE qualification
