Experience needed: The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years commercial development experience building enterprise scale database applications. Specifically, this will include the following:
Large systems implementation and support
Data Warehousing/Decision Support
Good RDBMS skills – data modelling, schema design, and performance
Data format conversion
Structured design approach
Large project disciplines – focus on deliverables, working to deadlines, progress reporting documentation and standards
Hands-on Unix
Unix shell scripting
Oracle, to DBA level
Sun Solaris
ETL skills desirable, especially Ab Initio, Ascential DataStage / PX or Informatica
