Description
Role Purpose
To contribute to the Sales Support Team by:
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Providing support to maximise sales of profitable business
- Building capabilities to support CIS/CFS strategic sales plans
Key Responsibilities
To generate leads for Financial Advisers.
To provide appropriate support for regional sales activities such as campaigns and incentives.
To work as an integral member of the Sales Team, communicating information and ideas clearly, concisely and accurately in the most appropriate manner.
To help new and, where appropriate, existing Financial Advisers to become familiar with the laptop systems (Internal Databases and Lotus Notes).
To operate in accordance with the spirit and letter of the relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
Essential Skills, knowledge and experience
Excellent customer service skills.
The ability to listen to and understand the needs of the customer.
Excellent telephone skills.
The ability to build relationships with customers.
An understanding of the organisation and its products.
Experience of working within a regulatory environment - awareness of Data Protection Act, Money Laundering, FSA regulations.
Good organisation skills.
Desirable Skills, knowledge and experience
Previous experience of lead generation.
Knowledge of processes and procedures based on previous experience in a sales support environment.
