Responsibilities Include:
Partner with research and executive education groups to "unlock the value of the membership" by understanding each members' particular areas of interest and tailoring services and deliverables as appropriate
Collaborate with fellow CEB leads to allocate staff and financial resources across the membership across a 12-month calendar, understanding the resource needs in each quarter and planning accordingly
Actively manage the entire pool of members, onboard new members, monitor utilization and engagement, and develop strategies to provide highest quality of service
Master the research terrain for the membership, monitor industry trends and institutional issues
Work with the Program Director toward a program renewal goal
Work closely with the department Operations group to develop specific campaigns and other department wide initiatives
Oversee renewals for a pool of approximately 125 members, and in some cases delegating responsibility for day-to-day management of the less challenging member relationships to the Member Services Account Manager, and owning the remainder of the pool
Negotiate price increases in line with program goals
Develop and foster relationships with key decision makers and main points of contact at member companies
As required, travel to visit members; manage trip itineraries strategically to optimize the number of substantive, in-person touches while working within budgetary constraints
Conduct basic problem member work: identify troubled units, craft strategies leveraging the appropriate program resources to restore member relationships
Manage the performance, development and career of an Account Manager and Administrative Associate
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Outstanding record of achievement in a relevant role, i.e., account management, sales or revenue position
Demonstrated ability to serve in a role with revenue responsibility
Ability to meet personal and team monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals
Ability to manage and coach a staff in partnership with peers
Effective time management skills
Demonstrated poise and grace under pressure
Ability to conduct substantive content discussions with senior-level contacts at member organizations
Ability to work well across functions and partner with leads in research and content delivery
Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide highest quality member service
Thorough understanding of the CEB’s value proposition
