Set at the edge and in the Brecon Beacons National Park just nder 'Black Mountain' in a beautiful valley, you can drive five minutes in the winter and do some sledging on the mountain or just chill out in the Conservatory and watch the snow falling with a cup of hot chocolate. However, you are also only minutes away from the Village of Llangadog with its general store 4 pubs, two Churches, a Post Office, Butcher, News Agent, And even a Cobbler. 4 miles to drive into Llangadog. If you keep going a further 4 miles you will arrive at the town of Llandovery which is a full sized town with all facilities, even a heated swimming pool. The other way, and also 4 miles from Llangadog, you come to the town of Llandeilo which is also a full sized town with all facilities. The City of Carmarthen is also only about 1/2 from Rhydybont and is a large city.
